§5–6Backrest: Min 15cm from seat. Rigid, 90° to horizontal (±2°). Contrasting colour to uniform.
§8Seat Platform: Max 53cm from floor. Category A: parallel to floor. Max 10mm variance across four corners.
§10Seat Width: Max 3cm from hips at centre; max 6cm total overhang. Cushion matches seat dimensions.
§13Side Guard: Non-fencing side only. Min 10cm height, 20cm length. Rigid and transparent.
§19Insulation: Fully insulated permanent coating on all frame surfaces.
§24–25Wheels: Max 5° camber. Spoke protectors on both rear wheels required (Rule m.25.3.g).

How to measure: Sit on a hard, flat surface. Place two rigid flat-edged objects snugly against each side of the hips. Measure the distance between them (inner gap). Add +2 cm to account for clothing.

Seat depth (B): Sit on a hard surface, knees bent at 90°. Measure horizontally from the back of the knee to the end of the back support.

Footrest height (C): Measure vertically from below the knee down to the floor. Standard: 43–52 cm

Value A — Seat Width

Sit on a hard, flat surface. Place two rigid flat-edged objects snugly against each side of the hips (e.g. books or binders). Measure the distance between them.

Add +2 cm to account for clothing.

Standard sizes: 38 · 40 · 42 · 44 · 46 · 48 cm

Values B and C — Seat Depth and Footrest Height

B — Seat Depth

Sit on a hard surface, knees bent at 90°. Measure horizontally from the back of the knee to the end of the back support.

C — Footrest Height

Measure vertically from below the knee down to the floor.

Standard: 43 – 52 cm

⚠ If the footrest height (Value C) is less than 42 cm, it cannot be mounted tube-in-tube to the frame. Instead it will be clamped from above — this is called an extended footrest.

If the footrest height (Value C) is greater than 52 cm: additional modifications are required to comply with official WPF (IWAS) rules.
